Our story
With an open heart. For mothers. For children. For the community.
"Charitable Events UK" was born out of pain, out of love, and out of a sincere desire to do good.
Our founder, Mariana Afrasinei, is a mother. A mother who understands, from her own experience, what it means to have a child who needs you every moment. She knows how helplessness hurts and how overwhelming the burden of a child's suffering is.
That's why she chose not to remain silent. She chose to transform her own pain into support for other mothers.
He founded Charitable Events UK with the aim of gathering around him a community of good people, willing to lend a helping hand. Not just through words, but through deeds.
Mission
We choose a real case, a family that needs help – and our events become tools through which we raise funds, support, and offer hope.
Participants – families from the Romanian community in the UK – get involved through donations, auctions and active presence. The funds go directly to the supported cause, transparently and with respect for each contribution.
She is not alone.
Throughout this journey, Mariana is not alone.
Two brave women volunteered to be by his side –
Georgiana Anghel and Andreea Rusu.
They provide organizational, logistical and emotional support, contributing wholeheartedly at every stage.
These events are not just festive gatherings. They are proof that unity can heal, that women can build bridges of support and empathy together.
For Mariana, every organized event, every donation, every smile – means a lot. It is an act of gratitude and love for all those who choose not to remain indifferent.
